Sunday 18/02/2024 Any remaining rain over southern parts of England will clear through the morning, with high pressure arriving from west. Expect generally dry and bright conditions for most. A few showers are possible over Ireland and Scotland. Best of the dry and bright weather over eastern Scotland and eastern-southeastern counties of England, with long sunny spells. Maximums of 10C in north, and 13C in south.
Monday 19/02/2024 A mostly dry and bright start to the day, however soon thicker cloud will arrive over Ireland and Scotland associated with some patchy rain. This will spread east through the afternoon, with rain turning heavy for a time over Wales and southwest England. Drier conditions following later in the evening from the west, with some patchy frost possibly developing away from the coast over Scotland. Breezy with maximum temperatures at 9C in north, but 12C in south.
Tuesday 20/02/2024 High pressure will give mostly dry and bright conditions for England, Wales and East Scotland. Further west, expect some thicker cloud maybe with some light rain or drizzle over western Ireland and western and northern Scotland, and rain will move east through the afternoon and evening. Breezy. Some patchy frost overnight over England. Tops of 8C in north, but 10C in south.
Wednesday 21/02/2024 A mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, mostly in central and southern areas. Rather cloudy over Scotland with some showers. Strengthening winds in south with maximum temperatures at 8C in north but 11C in south. Patchy frost in the north overnight.
Thursday 22/02/2024 Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, this heavy in places. Once rain clears to the east, blustery showers following these turning wintry over higher ground and more frequent in west. Strong winds with gales in exposure and tops of 5C in north, but 9C in south.
Friday 23/02/2024 A showery day, with showers being blustery and frequent especially over western areas, with snow over higher ground. Longer drier spells over the far eastern parts. Windy with maximum temperatures at 4C in north, and 7C in south.
