Cloudy with outbreaks of rain across north Wales, into Cumbria to Northumbria and into southeast Scotland, further snow showers likely. Remainder of England and Wales sunshine and scattered showers and variable cloud, 4 to 6C generally, briefly 10C East Anglia, Hampshire and Kent.

Overnight frost in Scotland and northern England slow to clear so remaining cold especially where snow cover persists, further blustery showers for most of Scotland, N.Irleand, through Wales to southwest England, showers often merging to give a longer spell of mostly rain, 6 to 8C generally.

Overnight frost persisting across Scotland, north Wales and northern England especially where there is continuing snow cover. Sunshine and showers N.Ireland, Wales southwest and southern England showers frequent through the afternoon 2 to 4C. Showers also for eastern Scotland, along North Sea coasts of Northumbria to Kent with scattered showers. .
