A changeable week with rain but some drier days too
A changeable week with low pressure bringing rain on some days. There will be some drier days too. Mild temperatures overall although feeling colder in Scotland.

Tuesday 13/2/24 A fair start to Tuesday across very central and eastern hours of the country, although there could be a few mist and fog patches to start the day. Increasing client across southern Ireland and south-west England, bringing rain during the morning, this then moves eastinto the afternoon to cover much of central and southern England as well as Wales and Ireland. Some rain in northwest Scotland but the rest of Scotland and northern England should be fair with sunny spells. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 11C in southern England.
Wednesday 14/2/24 Wednesday is rather cloudy in western areas with some spots of drizzle. Eastern areas will be drier and brighter although cloud increasing during the day. Highs at 12C in the south, 6C.
Thursday 15/2/24 Low pressure over Ireland on Thursday bringing rain. Most of this in more northern and western areas of the country. Less rain in the east. Highs at 12C in southern areas, 7C in northern Scotland.
Friday 16/2/24 Low pressure over Scotland affecting the whole of the British Isles on Friday. Rain in eastern areas should clearing east with brighter weather and some showers following from the west. Highs near 5 to 12C.
Saturday 17/2/24 Low pressure east of the country on Saturday. This gives a cooler northwest wind. Showers in northern and eastern Scotland, a few wintry. Sunny spells and scattered showers for other areas. Highs at 6 to 12C.
Sunday 18/2/24 A ridge of higher pressure builds on Sunday. Some morning mist and fog patches clearing quickly. Then a fair day with sunny spells. Highs at 4 to 9C.
