Becoming drier although still some cloud and outbreaks of rain in eastern and southern areas, feeling cold here too

Higher pressure building over the coming days. This brings more drier weather, however it will not be completely dry. As the flow turning to the north and northeast there will increasingly be some cloud and spots of rain affecting eastern and southern areas. Tending to be cold as well in that wind.

Saturday 20/4/24
High pressure is expected to be over the British Isles on Saturday. A few morning mist patches clearing quickly. The day is then going to be dry and fair with plenty of sunshine. Some cloud affecting eastern coasts, perhaps with a showers over coasts of eastern England. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland, some drizzle in the far northwest. Highs at 10 to 12C.

Sunday 21/3/24
High pressure remains on Sunday and feeling cold for many. Some cloud in central and eastern Scotland and eastern England. A risk of some spots of rain and showers here too. More western areas should be brighter with sunny spells. Highs at 9C on eastern coasts, 16C in the Ireland.


 

Monday 22/4/24
High pressure is likely to be northwest of Ireland on Monday. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in eastern areas of Scotland and across the east and south of England. Some outbreaks of rain may affect East Anglia and southeast England. Probably brighter and drier in the west. Highs at 9 to 11C in the east, 16C in Ireland.


 

Tuesday 23/4/24
The area of high pressure remains north and west on Tuesday. A north to northeast flow bringing cloud and outbreaks of patchy rain or showers in the east, the best sunshine and drier weather in the west. Highs at 9 to 13C.



 
 
 

Wednesday 24/4/24
The northeast flow persists over the British Isles on Wednesday. Some cloud again through eastern and southern areas and feeling cold here. A few spots of rain in the east and south too. Drier north and west. Highs at 10 to 14C.

Thursday 25/4/24
Staying chilly through Thursday. The north to northeast wind bringing a few showers in central and eastern areas. Drier and brighter in the west and northwest. Tops at 9 to 13C.
