Rain moves into Italy


Monday
Showery rain affects the far north of Spain, but most of Spain and Portugal stay dry with good spells of sunshine. More sunshine to come across the central Mediterranean although a few showers in western Italy. Greece and most of Turkey should be fair and sunny.
Rain and showers for the north and west of France, fair in the southeast. Further heavy rain for the Low Countries and Germany with rain too in Poland, risk of freezing rain in the north of Poland. Austria and Hungary should be fine and dry although some showers in western Switzerland.
Showers for Denmark and chilly here. Some wintry showers and cold conditions for the Baltic States. Finland is going to be cold too and dry. Sweden sees some wintry showers in the east. Some rain reaching southern Norway but most of the country is dry.


Tuesday
Heavy showery rain for northern Spain, but staying dry in southern Spain and Portugal. Showers for the Balearics and Corsica. Unsettled for Italy with areas of rain with also extend across the Adriatic. Dry for Greece and Turkey. Fine around the Black Sea coasts of Romania and Bulgaria.
Showery areas of rain across France and the Low Countries. Wet for the Alpine region with snow over the mountains of Switzerland, Austria and southern Germany. Drier for northern Germany. Areas of rain and mountain snow in Poland and Czechia.
Cold and frosty but mostly dry across Scandinavia. A few snow flurries for the east coast of Sweden. A chilly northeast wind across the Baltic region.
