Wet and windy central and northern Europe, fair to the south


Saturday
Heavy rain sweeps into western Europe again associated with another deep low to the northwest. Gales for western coasts of France and northwest Iberia too. Rain spreads across most of France into the Low Countries and western Germany. Less wet to the south of France, whilst southern Spain and the Balearics will be mainly dry. Local showers for Italy, but a lot of fine weather. Heavy rain affects Greece, Romania and Bulgaria, possibly thundery.
Eastern Europe will be generally dry with sunshine and some variable fog patches. A strengthening breeze through eastern Germany into Poland. Rain advances north across Scandinavia, heaviest for eastern Sweden. Rain and drizzle for Finland. Rain also moves into southern Norway. Showers for Denmark.


Sunday
Rain for northeren Spain and Portugal. Fair in the south and through central Spain. The Balearics will be fair whilst a few showers affect Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have showers in central and southern areas whilst the north of dry and bright. Greece and Turkey are both fair with good spells of sunshine.
Showers and a strong breeze in France. Some loger spells of rain for the Low Countries, these turning showery later. Rain in western parts of Germany but dry to the east. Rain too in eastern Poland although dry and bright in the west. Hungary will be wet in the east, dry in the west. Austria should be mostly dry with a few showers in Switzerland.
Showers, some heavy for Denmark. The Baltic States will be bright and breezy with a scattering of showers. Fair for Finland with sunny spells. Rain and showers in southern Norway and southern Sweden but bright and dry in northern Norway and northern Sweden.
