Rain pushes northwards across Norway and Sweden, with further rain pushing into Northern Iberia

Wednesday
Showery rain pushes south and eastwards across Portugal and Spain, although tending to fizzle out through the early afternoon. Further rain will move into Northern Portugal later in the afternoon. Italy will see some showery rain, particularly in central parts early in the afternoon, following some early sunshine. Greece and Turkey will be dry with sunny spells.
Some heavy pulses of rain moving into western France during the afternoon and evening, but staying dry for central and eastern France with some sunny spells. Thundery showers during the afternoon in Switzerland. A dry afternoon in Austria, Hungary and Slovakia with some initial sunshine, but thicker cloud arriving later. Dry and sunny for the Balkans mostly. Rain over western Germany but dry in the east and also dry in Poland with sunny spells.
Heavy rain pushing northwards across Sweden with central parts of Finland and Sweden seeing the worst of the rain during the afternoon. Snow in central and northern Finland. Rain and strong winds in Denmark and southern Norway but fine and cold for northern Norway.

Thursday
Frequent rain or showers through Spain and Portugal, with some thunder possible during the daytime. Further heavy rain showers developing across Switzerland and northern and central parts of Italy, although drier across Sicily with some afternoon sunshine possible. Greece and Turkey will be mostly dry although some showers in northern Turkey.
Heavy rain and showers across France, with some more persistent rain arriving into western and southern parts later. Severe gales and heavy rain in the Low Countries with some showery rain in western and southern Germany, turning heavy at times. Mostly dry and breezy for Poland and Hungary. Showery rain arrives across Austria and Slovakia later.
Heavy rain pushes northwards during the afternoon across Southern Norway and parts of Denmark, with rain for central Sweden. A drier day for Finland on Thursday with the Baltic States cloudy and breezy. Some rain in southern Norway but cool in the north.
