Through the morning expect the heavy and possibly thundery showers to move northwest over Wales and Ireland, with dry weather following on the back with sunny spells.. Maximum temperatures at 12-14C in north but up to 16-18C in south.

High pressure is expected to arrive over the British Isles with a mostly dry and bright day, with good sunny periods. However scattered showers will develop in the afternoon, some of them heavy and thundery.Maximum temperatures at 14-16C for most areas.


 

Saturday 04/05/2024
Another mostly dry and bright morning with scattered heavy and thundery showers developing through the afternoon especially over England. These are expected to die away in the evening. Scotland and most of Ireland remain dry for most of the day. Afternoon temperatures at 15-17C in north but reaching 20C in south.


 

Sunday 05/05/2024
A low pressure system will track north over the British Isles giving some outbreaks of rain, possibly heavy in south. Drier towards Northwest Scotland and northern parts of Ireland. Tops of 16-18C for most areas, but reaching 20-21C over southern England.


 

Monday 06/05/2024
Low pressure positioned over the British Isles will bring scattered showers, some heavy, and these will be more frequent over the west/southwestern areas. Breezy with tops of 12-15C for most areas.

A band of rain possibly will reach the far western parts, otherwise it will be a mostly dry and bright day. Breezy in west with maximum temperatures at 12C in north and 17C in south.
