Cloudy to start with outbreaks for rain, heavy at times, Armagh to Antrim, Western Isles and Highland though the morning continuing into the afternoon with a fresh southerly wind, 8 to 10C generally. For England and Wales dry and sunny with variable cloud, 10C during the morning, becoming warm into and during the afternoon 11 to 13C generally, locally 16C Leicestershire to Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Scattered showers across Wales into Herefordshire to Shropshire during the afternoon. Dry with sunshine though the evening, though becoming cloudy from the west with rain for Cornwall and Devon coastal fringes of Wales to Antrim and into Western Isles mid-evening transferring inland through the night.

Dry fine and sunny to start and then continuing through the morning for Hampshire to Oxfordshire, into Yorkshire through Cambridgeshire to Kent 6C at first 14 to 16C early afternoon, likely 18C east midlands to Norfolk and Lincolnshire. Cloudy with rain at first Cornwall to Devon, Powys to Clwyd , into Cumbria, fringing Antrim and Stirling, rain persisting through the morning being heavy across Wales, 10 to 12C. Rain continuing across SW England and Wales and N.Ireland through the afternoon, becoming patchy Cheshire to Cumbria with scattered showers and with increasing sunshine temperatures 13 to 15C locally 16C in Cheshire. Sunshine and scattered showers into the eveingScottish Borders running south to Sussex. Showers fading into later evening, becoming confined to coastal Arygll and Galloway with a mainly dry night to follow with variable cloud.

Wednesday 01/05/2024
Wednesday start dry for all though rather cloudy for most, some sunshine though across Wales, Worcestershire to Shropshire and eatwards to Norfolk, becoming windy through the morning with a freshening easterly wind, remaining generally cloudy for most during both morning and afternoon, 10-12 mid-morning, except Aberdeenshire and Moray to Northumberland where low cloud will keep coasts cooler at 9C. Outbreaks of rain will affect Cornwall and Devon into south to mid-Wales Gloustershire to Nottinghamshire and Hertfordshire during the afternoon 13 to 15C generally with sunshine, locall 16 to 18C Norfolk to Essex. Rain becoming prolonged and heavy across Wales though the evening and later across Sussex to Suffolk overnight.

Dry, fine and sunny to start across Scotland, NW and NE England with prolonged sunshine and variable cloud, 7C to start, 12 to 14C generally into the afternoon and warm Dumfries, Argyll to coastal Highland 16 to 18C whereas Fife and Moray with coastal low cloud and fog 9C. Cloudy to start with rain being prolonged thorugh the morning and into the afternoon across Cornwall and Devon to Hampshire and into Somerset will slowly clear from the southwest through the afternoon, 13-15C with a fresh easterly wind, locally stron near coasts For the remainder of England sunshine becoming warm 16C generally 18C Cheshire and Clwydd. Dry with variable cloud for most overnight though rain will be slow to clear all of Cormwall and Devon.

Dry and mainly sunny for Scotland, 7C at first to 14C early afternoon, cloud increasing across northern Highland, later Moray to Fife with likely patchy rain especially along coasts. Sunshine through the morning for Cumbria, Lancashire and Northumberland and Yorkshire 15C generally 18C Lancashire to Cheshire and north Wales coasts. Mainly cloudy though some sunshine for the remainder of England so cooler with a fresh East wind, 13C generally Scattered showers at first will merge to give outbreak of rain across midlands southwards continuinig through the afternoon and into the evening

Cloudy for most with a mix of sunshine and showers across Scotland and into northern England, with increasing outbreaks of rain, prolonged and heavy for Wales and England during the afternoon with temperature 14C. Rain will continue into the evening and extend north and east towards Scottish Borders.
