Frosts some nights

An area of high pressure is expected to dominate much of Britain with little in the way of rainfall. Temperatures tend to fall as we go through the week with northern Britain milder by mid week while it's colder in the south. Frost will be widespread at times, depending on amount of cloud and wind. Some patchy drizzle may affect the north and the west.

It becomes windy across Scotland. Rain light rain to come for parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland. Dry for England and Wales with sunny skies. Rain lingers across Scotland and Northern Ireland tonight with a frost in the south. Fog patches may develop in the far south, some dense and freezing. Expect high temperatures of 3 to 6C.


Wednesday 30/11/16
Cloudy, milder and very windy across northern areas. Rain affect mainly northern Scotland. Morning fog and freezing fog in the south clears this morning as the winds pick up. Dry with good sunny spells across the south but a cold day. Mild and windy in the north overnight. A frost may develop in the far south. Highs of 5 to 9C.

Windy with patchy rain in the west and north. Dry with the best of the sunshine from The Midlands southward but staying the coldest. Rain to affect Scotland in the night, dry for England and Wales. Highs of 7 to 10C.

A weak front may bring more cloud and patchy rain to England and Wales. Cloudy but dry across Scotland. A dry night but rather cloudy across much of Britain. Highs of 6 to 9C.

 
 
 


Saturday 03/12/16
It appears dry with morning cloud tending to break up to sunnier spells. Just a few showers may affect North Sea coasts coming in on a north east wind. A bit milder in the south, colder for Scotland. Expect clear skies and a widespread frost overnight. Highs of 4 to 9C.

Sunday 04/12/16
A cold, frosty morning with a risk of locally dense fog patches slowly clearing leaving a dry day with hazy spells of sunshine. More cloudy across some eastern areas with the wind from the north east. Expect highs of 3 to 7C.
