Low pressure and Atlantic fronts are expected to bring unsettled weather conditions to Britain with the most persistent and heavier rain likely across England and Wales. Temperatures will increase to above normal. This will often be accompanied by strong winds. Pressure will be higher across Scotland and here it will be drier but cooler.

A windy but milder day. A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, heavy across Scotland. It becomes drier to the south but staying cloudy. Rain lingers in the north and across Wales in the night. Very windy across Scotland. Expect high temperatures of 3 to 11C.
