Yet more heavy rain moving in across Portugal and Spain.

Saturday
Outbreaks of rain across Portugal today though largely dry with sunny spells through Spain. Some showers affecting the Balearics though it largely dries up here in the afternoon. Scattered showers, some heavy, across north and west Italy, generally drier elsewhere. Unsettled and wet down the Balkan States. Largely dry and fine across Greece and Turkey.
Wet and windy across particularly northern and western areas of France, better further south and east. Also wet and windy across the Low Countries. Largely dry through Germany though breezy. Showers as well as longer spells of rain affecting Switzerland into western Austria. Scattered showers across Poland though most staying dry here.
Outbreaks of rain across Denmark though less windy. Wet and windy though continuing across the far south of Sweden and Norway with spells of rain across many Baltic States making it feel cold here. Dry and mainly fine further north as high pressure holds on strong, though cold with frosty starts.

Sunday
A rapidly deepening area of low pressure moves in to southern and central Portugal on Sunday, expected to bring high rainfall totals and strengthened blustery winds. The rain moves into parts of west Spain. Elsewhere across Spain is mostly dry though a few showers along eastern coasts that could affect the Balearics. Largely dry and fine through Italy, Greece and Turkey though some scattered showers along coasts cannot be ruled out.
Largely dry across France, Switzerland and Austria with light winds. Coastal showers affecting the Low Countries and Germany, otherwise dry here. Heavy showers developing across parts of Poland. Largely dry acorss the Balkans.
A changeable day in Denmark. Cloud and patchy rain across southern regions of Sweden and Norway, drier with some developing sunshine further north. Largely dry across Finland and the Baltic States.
