Cold, windy and unsettled northern Europe, warm and dry central Mediterranean
Saturday Bands of rain continue across Coastal Norway and parts of Northern Scandinavia Finland. Mostly dry for Southern Sweden and Denmark however, and a dry day with crisp sunshine across northwest Europe. Less warm across France and central Europe on Saturday, with the warmest temperatures across the south of Iberia and parts of Central and Southeastern Europe. Plenty of autumnal sunshine on offer through Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia. Croatia, with thicker cloud moving through Austria and the Czech Republic as a dying weather front moves through these areas.. Limited brightness through the Baltic States with a cooler day here also, albeit little rainfall is expected.
Sunday Rain for Portugal and northwest Spain on Sunday, some of this heavy at times. Eastern and southern areas should be drier and brighter. Some showery bursts of rain in the Balearics too. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry with sunny spells. Italy will have showers in the north and will be fair in the south. Greece will have sunny spells and should be dry. Turkey will have sunshine in the west but showers in the east. Fair for France, breezy in the west. Fine for central and eastern areas of France. Some showers and cooler weather in the Low Countries and northern Germany where it will be breezy. Rain too in northern Poland but dry in the south. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will have cloud and some outbreaks of rain. Denmark is cold and windy with sunny spells and showers. Rain for the Baltic States, turning to snow later and windy here. Some snow showers too in Finland, a few of them heavy. Bright and breezy for Sweden. Frequent wintry showers and strong winds as well as feeling cold in Norway.
