Rain bombards the far west with blustery, strong winds.


Friday
Northwest Spain is cloudy with showery rain, while spells of heavy rain affect much of Portugal, along with blustery winds. Drier elsewhere across Spain as well as the Balearics. Scattered showers across Italy though most here will stay dry. A few showers affecting western Greece otherwise dry here as well as across Turkey.
Unsettled weather continues across France with spells of rain, heavy for a time, tracking eastwards. Heavy rain also affecting the Low Countries. Showery rain in northern Germany, drier further south. Unsettled with heavy showers still across Switzerland. Largely dry through Austria. Showers affecting north and west Poland.
Staying cloudy and damp across Denmark with cloud and drizzle pushing on to many of the Baltic States. Largely dry through Norway and Sweden but likely to be rather a lot of cloud and feeling cold. Largely dry with the best of the sunny spells in Finland.


Saturday
A drier day for much of europe, however, a band of rain tracks across western France and northern Spain and Portugal during the morning with some heavy bursts for a time. Southern Spain and the rest of France seeing brighter spells developing during the afternoon.
Clusters of showers for northern Germany and Denmark with brighter spells emerging during the afternoon for parts of Sweden and Norway. Mostly cloudy and dry for the Baltic countries once again and a colder day for most here.
A fine afternoon for Italy and southeast Europe and feeling pleasantly warm. A few sunny spells develop during the afternoon for Austria, Switzerland and Hungary with little rain expected.
