Dull and damp south
Dry, bright north & east

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 31st October 2019
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

More heavy rain tonight southwest

Good morning,

High pressure stays to the east of Britain, whilst low pressure is to the west today.

A weakening front lies across southwestern areas of England and much of Wales, bringing murky conditions, low cloud and drizzly rain, although tending to fizzle out. Flooding likely following heavy rain overnight.

Dry and bright in the north and east of Britain, but feeling cool again. Generally light winds from the south or southeast. Rain will develop again from the west this evening and set in heavily once more for the southwest.

Today's top temperatures ranging from 8C in northern Scotland, to 14C in southwest England.

Have a great day.
Garry
