A few showers for Wales and southwest England but a dry start elsewhere with increasing sunshine further west. Through the morning rain persists for eastern parts of England and Scotland but starts to ease from the north.
Rain continues to ease from the north through the afternoon but southeastern England could continue to see a few heavier bursts.
