Morning Call - October 22, 2019
Dry for most
Sunny southeast

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 22nd October 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A dry and bright day for most with the best of the sunshine to the southeast. Fronts to the north and west bring more cloud here and scattered outbreaks of rain.

Good morning,

Away from the far north and far west of Scotland it's a dry start to the day. Central and southern areas may have some mist or fog patches but these should clear through the morning. The best of the morning sunshine is to the southeast while it becomes increasingly cloudy towards the north and west.

It continues cloudy through the afternoon for much of Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland with light outbreaks of rain for the northern half of Scotland. Elsewhere it stays dry with the best of the sunshine, again, to the southeast. Highs reaching 9 to 13C for most, warmer to the southeast.

Not much change into this evening with outbreaks of rain over northern parts of Scotland. The clearest skies remain to the southeast.

Have a good day!

Claire
