Windy in the north with frequent, heavy showers, breezy in south and drier
The morning will see plenty of dry and sunny weather though it will be windy, particularly so across Scotland and Northern Ireland into parts of northern England where frequent blustery showers are expected.
The afternoon sees these showers merge into longer spells of rain for southern and western regions of Scotland. Frequent showers still affect Northern Ireland as well as west and north Ireland pushing on to western coasts and hills across Wales. Mostly dry with sunshine elsewhere.
Overnight, staying windy, more so further north, with blustery showery rain affecting north and west Scotland. Still showers likely to affect western coasts and hills but largely dry and fine elsewhere.
