Dry for most with good sunny spells. Some rain in the northwest later.
A fresh feeling start to the day on Monday. A ridge of high pressure brings about much dry and fine weather for most with good sunny spells.
Do expect though cloudier skies and some patchy rain across parts of north and west Scotland perhaps into Northern Ireland and northwest Ireland as a weak front pushes in here.
Overnight, cloudier skies across Scotland, Northern Ireland and into northern England with outbreaks of rain tracking southwards clearing many regions of north and central Scotland through the early hours. Rain also becoming widespread across much of Ireland too. Dry further south with some clear spells.
