Morning Call - July 04, 2012
A dull start
Sunshine & showers later

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 4th July 2012
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Lots of cloud and some rain to start the day, then brighter with showers

Good morning, Lots of cloud around again through this morning with low pressure in control of the weather. Areas of rain will be affecting Wales, northern England, western Scotland and the east of Northern Ireland. Drier in more southern and central parts of the country. A few bright spells may affect the far southeast of England, and there could be some brighter spells in eastern Ireland.

A tendency through the day for cloud to continue to breaks in the eastern Midlands and eastern England allowing some warm spells of sunshine to come through. However, this will be enough to spark off some heavy showers. Remaining cloudier in the west with periods of rain across Wales, southwest England, parts of northwest England and southwest Scotland.

Some brighter spells forming in Ireland too.

Have a great day.
