High pressure dominates bringing mainly fine and sunny conditions
It's a chilly start to Wednesday with some rural frost in places, especially across more northern areas of the Britis Isles. It is, however, for many areas mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells and just with a low risk of a few light showers across SE England.
Through the afternoon and not a great deal of change in the weather is expected with further bright or sunny spells expected, these perhaps prolonged more locally but still with some variable cloud too. A low risk of a few showers, perhaps wintry persists across some south-eastern areas of England.
Into Wednesday evening and a clear and chilly night is likely beneath clear skies and variable cloud. Frost is expected to develop on Wednesday night and into the early hours of Thursday, perhaps with some local mist and fog patches also.
