Friday 24/7/20
Friday will be mixed, there will be sunny spells, best of these in the morning, but also showers developing. These showers mostly confined to northeast England as well as southern counties and over Wales, before becoming more widespread through the afternoon. Meanwhile, a band of rain will affect Northern Ireland and spread eastwards across Ireland and reach western Scotland later on in the day. Highs at 17 to 23C.

Saturday 25/7/20
With the advancement of the Atlantic low pressure rain or showers will continue to spread eastward across the British Isles, some heavy and frequent rain in places. Drier and brighter spells following from the west but also showers. Highs at 16 to 23C.

Sunday 26/7/20
Sunday looks to stay unsettled with outbreaks of rain and thundery showers developing. These mainly to the east. However, it will brighten up from the west through the afternoon with sunnier skies developing. Cloud and rain, however, will linger across northern and northeast Scotland through much of the day. Highs of 15 to 22C.

Monday 27/7/20
With low pressure just to the east of Scotland there will be plenty of cloud about across central and eastern Scotland as well as eastern parts of England with showers or longer spells of rain through much of the day. Further south and west there should be more in the way of sunny spells and it should be mostly dry, however, isolated showers can't be ruled out. Highs of 20 in the southeast. 20C further north and cooler across northern Scotland with highs at 14C.

Tuesday 28/7/20
Residual rain clearing the southeast of England to see a dry and fine day across southern areas. Models are differing at this stage but currently it looks like rain could affect northern and western parts of the UK and Ireland. Rain spreading in from the west affecting northern parts. A muggy feel for many. Highs of 17 to 22C.

Wednesday 29/7/20
Currently on Wednesday the weather looks to stay mixed with the risk of more rain moving across northern parts of the UK. The south could stay largely dry but as models are differing currently confidence is low in this. Highs of 15 to 22C.
