Rain spreads from the northwest through the morning affecting much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland as well as northwestern parts of England and Wales. Staying dry for central and southern England and south Wales but increasingly cloudy here as the day goes on. Fresh westerly winds will spread across the country too.

A wet start to the day for much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland as fronts bring outbreaks of rain here. These locally heavy over western parts of Scotland in particular. Through the morning rain spreads into northwestern parts of England and Wales as well. Fresh westerly winds spread across the country too. Across the rest of England and Wales it starts dry but with a fair bit of cloud around. The best of the sun to the southeast of England.


Winds continue to freshen across the country through Monday afternoon while outbreaks of rain continue to affect western parts of Scotland and Ireland and northwestern parts of England and Wales. Cloud thickens across all parts of the country, including the southeast.


Rain becomes lighter and increasingly patchy into the evening but will persist over some northwestern areas, particularly over higher ground. Staying rather cloudy and breezy for most areas too.
