Morning Call - September 14, 2020
Warm/very warm
Largely dry

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 14th September 2020
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Very warm in the south and southeast. Warm further north too. Cloudy with some rain in the north and west. Sunny elsewhere.

In the morning, largely dry and sunny across much of England and Wales although cloudier skies in the north and west here. Rather cloudy across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland but mostly dry just with some rain affecting the far west of Ireland and the north and northwest of Scotland.

In the afternoon, staying cloudy in the north and west of the British Isles with rain pushing eastwards across Ireland and into Northern Ireland. Still patchy light rain and drizzle for the far west of Scotland but largely dry elsewhere across the UK. Best of the sunshine over eastern Scotland as well as central and southeast England where it will be warm or very warm.

Overnight, largely dry although rain will become widespread across northern and central Scotland initially with rain just affecting the far northwest of Ireland, drier elsewhere. Rain will become confined to northern Scotland later with the risk for some patchy drizzle across parts of southern Scotland as well as western England and Wales. Mostly cloudy across the British Isles with the southeast of England seeing the best of any clear spells.
