Thursday 27/07/17
Low pressure centred toward the north-west of the British Isles produces changeable and blustery conditions for the west & north-west of Britain, plus much of Ireland - a mix of bright spells and showers, these locally frequent. For central, eastern & southern England it should be often dry, with just passing light showers and spells of sunshine. A south-westerly breeze. Highs 16 to 19C north & west, 20 to 23C south & east.

Friday 28/07/17
High pressure to the south maintains a south-westerly flow across the country. Outbreaks of rain or showers in the west & north-west, but largely dry and sunny in the south & east. Low pressure developing over the Atlantic may bring more organised rain to Ireland later. A freshening breeze. Warmest in east & south-east, highs 17 to 23C.

Saturday 29/07/17
Low pressure over the Atlantic throws frontal systems across west & north-western regions, with rain on and off, at times persistent. Meanwhile, east & south-eastern areas should escape largely dry and warm with spells of sunshine. Highs 17 to 24C.

Sunday 30/07/17
Fronts passing eastwards during the weekend to give a period of rain for many places, although very little may reach the south-east. Blustery south-westerly winds. Occasional sunshine, and feeling warm in the south. Highs 17 to 25C.

Monday 31/07/17
A continued south to south-westerly pattern. Areas of rain or showers mainly toward the west & north-west, whilst the south & east stays drier, brighter and warmer. Highs 17 to 25C.

Tuesday 01/08/17
Remaining mixed, with fronts trying to spread from the west, bringing a risk of rain, but again eastern areas should fare best for dry weather. Highs 17 to 24C.
