Plenty of dry weather, although there will be some showers, remaning cool

Plenty of dry weather over the coming days, feeling cool but with a few showers. Next week is likely to be starting similar, but there are hints of the weather becoming more showery into the middle of the week.

Saturday 6/7/19
A weak cold front is expected to be across southern parts of England on Saturday. High-pressure remains to the west of Ireland with low pressure to the east of England. A Cool north-westerly flow affects all parts of the country. Cloudy over southern areas close to the front, with a few spots of rain here and there, but this fades quickly. Brighter to the north of the front with some sunshine, although showers affect northern Scotland and the high ground of northern England. Cool for all. Highs at 20C in southern parts of England, but more widely 16 to 18C and 11C in northern Scotland.


Sunday 7/7/19
The ridge of high pressure remains through Sunday. A more north to northwest flow brings a risk of rain in northern Scotland. Fair for most other areas with broken cloud and sunny spells. Highs at 12C in northern Scotland, 20C in southern parts of England.

 
 
 


Monday 8/7/19
Low pressure northwest of Scotland bringing some outbreaks of rain in the north and northwest. Better conditions for England, Wales and Ireland, although there is an increasing risk of a shower developing over eastern England. Highs at 21C in southern England, 12C in northern Scotland.
 


Tuesday 9/7/19
A weak ridge of high pressure brings a mostly fair day on Tuesday. Broken cloud and bright or sunny spells. The risk of isolated showers on hills. Some cloud in western parts of Ireland bringing some outbreaks of rain here. Highs at 24C in southern England, 16C in northern Scotland and 21C in Ireland.


Wednesday 10/7/19
Spells of rain cross Wales, northern England and Scotland. Most of the rain showery. Drier for the far south of England with some bright spells. Highs near 14 to 22C.

Thursday 11/7/19
Pressure is generally low on Thursday. There will be some showers developing, a few of them on the heavy side and mostly in northern England, Scotland and Ireland as well as central Wales. More southern areas are likely to be dry with some sunny spells. Highs at 17 to 24C.
