High pressure over Scandinavia keeps the British Isles in an southeast to easterly airflow. Morning mist patches in central parts of Scotland, Ireland, and in the north of England will clear quickly to leave a bright, dry day with plenty of sunshine. Staying breezy through the afternoon with moderate winds for the south of England, northeast of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Gentle winds elsewhere. Feeing increasingly cool in the wind. Highs of 7 to 12C.


Sunday Night
Cloud will drift onto eastern coasts and spread westward through the night though it should remain dry. Cloudiest skies will be in the northeast and some groundfrost could develop over higher ground. Lows of 2 to 7C.

 
 
 


Monday
High pressure centred near Shetland on Monday. It is going to remain windy with fresh winds for parts of the southeast. It will be cloudy in the east with increasing sunny spells further west. The best of the brightness will be in Ireland and the northwest of Scotland. There will be some outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing in the afternoon for Fife and the southeast. Temperatures at 5 to 8C.


Tuesday
High pressure is centred over the Norwegian Sea bringing a more northeasterly flow to the British Isles on Tuesday. Cloud affecting northern and eastern areas where there could be some spots of rain and drizzle too. Brighter in the far west with sunny spells. Cold again at 4 to 8C.
