Drier in southern and southeast England although rather cloudy, a scattering of showers in the afternoon. Showers in western Scotland and northwest England as well as the far north of Ireland. Sunny spells to with the best of them in the east. Turning much cooler to the air and north with tops at 12C in western Scotland, 20C in southeast England.

Other areas will have dry weather with some broken cloud and clear spells as the wind ease. Lows near 7C in central Scotland, 8 to 10C for most, 13C in the southeast.
