Showers following through Scotland and Ireland, windy here and cool. Drier in East Anglia and southeast England, the winds increasing here with some showers by the evening. Highs at 12C in northern Scotland, 19C in southeast England, 14 to 17C for most.
Showers fade from many areas this evening leaving drier weather overnight, remaining windy too. Showers affecting northern and western coasts and hills, the heaviest of these in western Scotland. Lows at 6 to 10C.
A warm front passes east through Scotland and northern England on Thursday. This brings cloud and a risk of some drizzle over western coasts and hills. Drier in southern and eastern parts of England with some bright spells. There could be mist and fog patches affecting western hills and coasts too. Highs at 13 to 17C.
Low pressure north of Scotland on Friday. A cold front will be moving south through the country taking cloud and periods of rain with it. Most of the rain over southern Ireland, Wales and northern England, tending to be more showery to the south. Heavy showers and brighter weather follows into Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as northern England later. A breezy day with colder weather following from the north. Highs at 19C in southeast England but more generally 12 to 16C.
