Dull, cool & some rain central-northern areas
A dry and warm day for Spain and Portugal, highest temperatures toward the south-west nearing 30C. Much cooler around the Biscay coast, 20C at best. Scattered showers possible around the Balearics, Corsica & Sardinia, may drift into western Italy.
Much of southern Italy and the Balkans will be dry and bright. Low pressure brings early rain to Romania and Bulgaria, but clearing. Heavy rain spreads across south & central Ukraine. Rare showers may affect the Greek islands. Dry with sunshine for Cyprus, highs 26C.
Variable cloud and some sun for France and the Alps. Extensive cloud for Germany, the Low Countries & Poland, plus occasional drizzly rain. A cool feel across central & northern Europe thanks to a north-easterly breeze, which will be strongest around the southern Baltic, locally very windy. Temperatures just 10 to 13C. High pressure remains situated over northern Scandinavia. Cool and dry weather for Norway, Finland and most of Sweden. A few showers around the Baltic coasts.
A fresh breeze will make it feel cool in northern Spain, but warm conditions continue for the south-west of Iberia, highs 29C. Risk of local thundery showers for south-east Spain and the Balearics. Showers around the coasts of Italy, Sicily and the Balkans, although much of central & northern Italy will be dry. Dry and warm for Greece and Turkey.
Some warm sunshine in western France, where temperatures may reach 19C, but much of central & northern Europe will stay cool, breezy and cloudy. Patchy drizzle for Germany, just 11 or 12C. Dull with occasional rain around Denmark and southern Sweden. More organised rain is likely for the southern Baltic states and Belarus, perhaps also northern Poland. Strong high pressure remains across northern Scandinavia, bringing dry but chilly weather. A strong and cold wind across the Baltic.
