Turning colder in northern Europe, mostly dry to the south
Rather chilly across much of Europe today with highest temperatures into the high 20's across southern Iberia. Rain and showers to affect Britain. Showers too for Belgium, Holland, Denmark and western and southern parts of Germany. Some of these will be on the heavy side.
A better day across France with sunny spells and just a few showers. A cloudy day across Scandinavia with rain likely across Norway and Sweden, dry across Finland. Cold but dry and sunny across the Baltic States into western Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. Lots of dry weather too across the Balkans. Some rain for coastal Adriatic but overall fair and dry. Sunny and dry across Turkey.
Cloudy with rain across northern Italy with the south dry. Rain is also likely across the Czech Republic and Austria. A windy day again across the Aegean as well as southern France and the Straits of Gibraltar.
Cloud and rain affecting eastern Spain today, with showers in the Balearics. Drier and brighter to the west, a few showers in Portugal. Italy should be fair with some decent spells of sunshine here, although a few showers in the far north. Greece and Turkey will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
France is going to be dry with lots of sunshine throughout and the risk of an early frost. Breezy and mixed in the Low Countries with rain and showers. Further rain and showers in Germany and chilly here as well as windy. Rain passing through Poland and Hungary as well as Austria and Switzerland.
Breezy and cool in Denmark with sunny spells. Showers and outbreaks of rain in the southern half of Sweden. Breezy in the Baltic States whilst it will be fair and dry in Finland. Brighter and mostly dry in northern Sweden and most of Norway too.
