Thursday 30/11/17
It stays cold with a bitter wind chill factor. Again western and eastern parts may see a number of snow showers down to low levels. Central parts look dry and quite sunny. Less windy and cold by night with icy patches and frost, this moderate or severe locally. Expect highs of 2C to 5C

Friday 01/12/17
Cold in the south, milder in the north later. A cold start nationwide with yet another widespread frost. Much of England and Wales will remain cold with bright or sunny spells through the day, but cloud will increase across Scotland with some patchy rain or drizzle arriving here later, turning less-cold here too. Highs around 3C to 7C.

Saturday 02/12/17
A good deal of dry weather, perhaps with another frost across parts of England and Wales. Overall though it will be less-cold than previous days and while some brighter intervals are possible at times, it is likely to be quite a cloudy day. Highs around 4C to 9C.

Sunday 03/12/17
Little change into Sunday at the moment with mainly dry weather dominating across many areas of the British Isles, but perhaps with some patchy rain and drizzle across parts of Scotland. Overnight frost and fog possible in places, but nothing too widespread and temperatures near the early December average. Highs around 4C to 9C.

Monday 04/12/17
Increasing risk of rain and showers developing across Scotland, but with mainly dry weather prevailing elsewhere as things stand, perhaps with some bright or sunny spells too across more central, southern and western areas of England and Wales. Some overnight frost remaining possible, temperatures near to average. Highs around 4C to 9C.

Tuesday 05/12/17
There are signs of a potential renewed N or NW'ly air mass by next Tuesday onwards, with rain and showers moving southwards and with colder conditions following, especially across more northern areas, with perhaps wintry showers returning to Scotland later in the day. Highs around 4C to 10C, highest in the far south, but with all areas potentially turning colder later in the day.
