Wednesday
Plenty of cloud across northern and western parts of the UK and the whole of the island of Ireland this morning. There will be outbreaks of light rain and drizzle in Ireland and southwest Scotland as well as the hills of northwest England. Good spells of sunshine developing in central, southern and eastern England. The sunshine spreading northwards through this morning and this afternoon, feeling increasingly warm too. Staying rather cloudy in central and northern Scotland with some rain in the northwest. Remaining breezy in Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 24C in southeast England, 18C in central Scotland and 20C in northern parts of Ireland.

Wednesday Night
Cloud increases in Ireland on Wednesday night with some drizzle in the south and west. Drizzle also affecting the west of Scotland. Elsewhere it should be dry with clearer skies, the best of these in the east. Some low cloud and mist developing over western coasts of England and western Wales. Lows at a mild 9 to 12C for most.
 

Thursday
Pressure building across the UK and Ireland on Thursday. This brings dry weather and lots of sunshine across much of England and eastern Wales as well as eastern Scotland. Some low cloud drifting onto the coasts of western Wales and southwest England as well as parts of northwest England. This low cloud and a few spots of drizzle in southwest Scotland and eastern Ireland. The rest of Ireland will be dry with sunny spells. Another warm afternoon, very warm in places in that sunshine with tops of 20C in northeast Scotland, 15C in western Scotland, 18C in Ireland and as high as 26C in southeast England and East Anglia.

Friday
Higher pressure settled over the country on Friday. There could be some morning mist or fog patches in more sheltered areas but these clear quickly. The day should be warm and dry again with good spells of sunshine. Low cloud and mist again affecting coasts in the west but also some low cloud on eastern coasts too. The threat of a few spots of drizzle in northwest Scotland although dry elsewhere. Tops at 14C in northern Scotland, 19C in sunshine in Ireland and 26C in southeast England.
