Cloudy north with some rain in Scotland, best of the sunshine to the south
Best of the sunshine today is going to be in more southern parts of England and Wales. Cloud will be increasing further north, although it is a dry start to the morning. That dry weather should last throughout the day over Ireland, Wales and much of northern England.
Always more cloud in Scotland where there will be some rain and drizzle affecting the north and west. Rather breezy in northern Scotland too. Some fog too on western coasts and hills. A warm day in the south at 22C, but cooler in the cloud to the north with tops of 14C in northern Scotland.
Overnight there will be more cloud oer Scotland with some spots of rain in the west. Patchy rain around the coasts of Northern Ireland too. Dry to the south with clear skies.
