Showers over the northern half of the British Isles through the morning but these easing through the afternoon to leave a dry and bright end to the day for most.
A northwest to northerly flow affects the British Isles today bringing a cloudy start with showers to Scotland, Northern Ireland and into the north of England. Through the morning showers should ease over Northern Ireland and Scotland but may persist over northeastern parts of England. Dry and brighter to the south.
Showers continue to ease into this afternoon though northwestern parts of Scotland may see some light rain or drizzle. A few showers may also persist over northeastern coastal parts of England. Elsewhere it should stay dry with a mixture of cloudy skies and sunny spells. The best of the brightness for western England, Wales and southern Scotland. Feeling cooler than it has done of late with high temperatures widely at 15 to 18C. Cooler than this in the far northwest at just 12 or 13C and milder to the southeast where temperatures may just reach into the 20s (Celcius).
The evening should be dry almost everywhere and skies should clear to leave a bright end to the day for most. Cloud lingering in the far north and northwest.
Have a good day!
