Becoming very mild although perhaps turning cooler again next week
The weather pattern is undergoing what appears to be a temporary change to milder weather in the coming days. It could become very mild for many parts of the country. However by the weekend things start to look a little cooler and there are indications that this slip in temperatures continues into next week. Note that confidence is considered low right now.

Friday 9/12/16 Low pressure ot the west of Scotland on Friday with high pressure over central Europe. It should be dry with broken cloud through most of England on Friday morning. A band of rain crossing Scotland and Ireland, reaching Wales through the morning. Some may be heavy over western slopes. Becoming drier and brighter in Ireland and western Scotland later. Highs at 10 to 15C.
Saturday 10/12/16 A front across southern England today bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain here. Low pressure to the northwest of Scotland bringing a windy day with gales and the risk of some heavy showers. Brighter skeis for much of Wales, northeast England and eastern Scotland. Temperatures at a slightly cooler 7 to 13C.
Sunday 11/12/16 The front eventually clears from southeast England early Sunday taking showery rain with it. Most areas are then likely to become fair with sunny spells, although still a risk of some showers in northern and eastern Scotland where it will be windier too. Thicker cloud and rain may affect Ireland later. Highs at 7 to 10C so feeling cooler for all.
Monday 12/12/16 Pressure is expected to be building through the country on Monday, although weak fronts continue to affect Ireland. These bring cloud and drizzle. Drier to the east under high pressure, although there may be a fair amount of mist and fog around. Highs at 7 to 10C.
Tuesday 13/12/16 Indications are that low pressure may settled west of the UK on Tuesday with higher pressure to the east. The southerly flow brings plenty of cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle and rain. It may be feeling cooler too with tops of 5 to 8C.
Wednesday 14/12/16 Higher pressure may build east of the Uk on Friday. There is much uncertainty in the detail of the forecast but it may be that there will be rain in the west, whilst cooler and brighter weather arrives in the east. Tops at 4 to 10C.
