UK Forecast - April 14, 2020
Warmer, dry & sunny
Dry tonight

Wednesday
Another cool start to the day for many with a touch of frost in more sheltered areas. The day will then be fair, good spells of sunshine for all and it should be dry too. There is just a small risk of a few spots of rain in the far north of Scotland in the afternoon. Staying fair into the late afternoon and evening. Winds will be staying light. Temperatures at 16 to 18C for most, 11C in northwest Scotland.

Wednesday Night
Less of a frost risk tonight although some sheltered areas could see a touch of ground frost. It is going to be dry for most places with clear spells. However, a couple of areas of cloud are to be watched; the first in northern Scotland which could produce some patchy rain. The second is in southwest England where a few showers could break out by the morning. Lows near 3 to 7C.

Thursday
A weak front brings some patchy rain to the far north of Scotland on Thursday. A trough will be pushing some showers into southern Ireland, southwest England and perhaps into southwest Wales, most of them light. Elsewhere the day will have broken cloud and sunny spells, but should be staying dry. Warm for many with highs at 23C in London, widely 17 to 20C, but a coler 10C in northeast Scotland.

Friday
More persistent rain may arrives in southern Ireland and southern England on Friday, this edging into the south of Wales and the Midlands too. The rain could be heavy and thundery at times. Drier in Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland with some spells of sunshine here. Always the risk of some cloud on eastern coasts and feeling colder here thanks to the onshore wind. Highs at 15 to 17C, but just 8 to 10C on eastern coasts.
