More unsettled next week after a fine and warm Easter weekend
After fine and warm weather over the Easter weekend conditions are set to become more unsettled next week. Lower pressure is going to be bringing periods of rain and showers and it will be turning cooler.

Tuesday 23/4/19 Low pressure develops over southern Ireland on Tuesday, and pressure will be falling for all. This allows for an area of heavier showers to develop through Ireland, Wales, southwest Scotland and western England, some of them thundery. The rest of scotland, northern and eastern England will be drier with some sunny spells,although it will be breezy. Cooler on eastern coasts at 13C, 23C in the Midlands and southern England.

Thursday 25/4/19 Low pressure remains on Thursday. This brings an unsettled day with rain and showers. Some of the showers could bne heavy. Highs at 12 to 16C.
Friday 26/4/19 A ridge of higher pressure builds on Friday, probably bringing a fairer day. There is the chance of a scattering of showers, a few of them heavy. Highs at 12 to 17C.
Saturday 27/4/19 Low pressure pushes bands of rain eastwards through the country on Saturday. Some of the rain will be heavy at times. Sunnier spells and drier weather away from the rain areas. Highs at 12 to 18C.
Sunday 28/4/19 Rather mixed on Sunday with sunny spells and showers. Most of the showers affecting western coasts and hills. Temperatures at 13 to 18C.
