Morning Call - October 27, 2018
Much colder for all
Showers west, north & east

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 26th October 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Becoming increasingly cold for all, showers in the north, west and east

Good morning,

A cold front over southern parts of the country early this morning. The front brings a few spots of rain, but this then clears quickly to the south. Following it will be an area of colder air that drains south through the whole country. Originating in the Arctic the air will be bringing showers of rain, sleet and some snow on high ground.

The afternoon is bright with good spells of sunshine for many. On coasts and hills of the west, north and east there will be further showers, some of them heavy. The showers wintry on the hills. Breezy for all and very cold as well.

Staying cold overnight with the showers remaining in the west, north and east. Drier elsewhere with clear skies and a slight frost. A significant wind chill for all.
