Rain through central parts of Europe but mostly fair to the south and north

Friday
A rather cloudy day for Portugal with best of brightness in central and south, risk of light rain in north. A sunny start for Spain, but cloudier later with rain in northwest. Afternoon showers for France along with sunny spells. Central and southern British Isles rather cloudy with heavy and possibly thundery showers, elsewhere drier. Unsettled to start over the Low Countries, with heavy thundery showers, but drier brighter later. Afternoon heavy shower for eastern Germany, but drier elsewhere with sunny spells. Mostly dry and bright over Poland. Another mostly dry day for Scandinavia with sunny spells. Mostly dry with sunny spells over Finland, the Baltic States, Belarus and Ukraine.
Another rather cloudy day for Switzerland and Austria with heavy showers. Rather cloudy for Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary with afternoon heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Fairly unsettled for Romania and the Balkans with periods of heavy rain.
Rather cloudy but mostly dry for the Balearics. Mostly dry for Corsica and Sardinia, only a few afternoon showers. Rather cloudy over Italy with some afternoon showers. Afternoon showers for Greece too. Some heavy showers in the afternoon for Turkey. Dry and sunny for Cyprus.

Saturday
Rain affecting northwest and northern Spain on Saturday. Fair through central and southern Spain, good spells of sunshine here. Fine through the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Fine for much of Italy, although a few showers in the south. Greece will have showers in western areas but should be mostly dry and fair. Some heavy showers and thunderstorms or longer spells of rain in Turkey.
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in France. Showers too in the Low Countries and much of Germany. Poland should be fine with sunny spells. Hungary is dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers in Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark should be fair with lots of sunshine. Scattered showers in the south of Sweden but fine in central and northern areas. The Baltic States will be mostly dry as well be Finland. Norway will be dry with sunny spells.
