Outbreaks of rain will spread east across much of Scotland during Thursday afternoon, this followed by frequent heavy showers which will become mainly focussed across Lochaber, Easter Ross, Western Tayside and Northern Argyll. Accumulations will be widely 20-30 mm with isolated 50 mm across higher ground, this falling onto already saturated ground. Rain will clear southeastwards through Friday evening.
