Region: Strathclyde

Warning

Rain will become persistent and heavy at times on Wednesday across much of southwestern Scotland and parts of the Borders. Whilst there still some uncertainty in the exact location of the heaviest rainfall, accumulations of 25 to 50 mm are likely in the warning area, and perhaps 60 to 90 mm over high ground. The rain will clear for a time on Wednesday evening and may return again early on Thursday morning but details are very uncertain.

Heavy rain may lead to some local flooding and disruption on Wednesday and perhaps into Thursday.
