Low pressure passing to the north of Scotland produces rain, drizzle and low cloud across northwestern Britain. Only small amounts of rain for most places, but persistent for many hours over western hills as far south as Wales. Generally dry for central and eastern regions of Britain, with a little sunshine breaking through, but mainly cloudy skies. Moderate southwesterly breezes. Highs 16 to 22C, warmest in southeast England.
Remnants of fronts toward the northwest bring cloud and patchy rain or drizzle for western Scotland, Ireland and locally in northwest England, but tending to fizzle out here. Cloudy skies in northern and western areas, but sunshine breaking through across central and eastern counties where it will feel increasingly warm and quite humid. Light southwesterlies. Highs 18 to 25C, warmest in Home Counties.
A gentle southerly airflow will maintain warm and dry conditions into midweek with plenty of sunshine across England & Wales. Cloudier for Scotland and Ireland, with a little drizzly rain locally, but amounts small. Light winds and coastal sea breeze in the south and east. Highs 19 to 25C.
A warm southerly flow continues, but a zone of instability around Biscay may see thundery rain encroach toward Britain and Ireland from the south-southwest later in the day. Otherwise dry and sunny with cloud gradually building. Highs 19 to 24C.
Detail is uncertain, but areas of thundery rain may well extend across central parts of Britain, possibly giving slow-moving heavy rain over a few hours. Temperatures lower than previous days with more cloud cover. Highs 15 to 21C.
Residual showery rain is possible, with a fresher feel to things overall. Sunny spells and broken cloud. Highs 14 to 19C.
