warm/hot and mostly dry weather continues into next week. A breakdown expected later in the week.
Largely dry and very warm weather continues into next week for most, but with a few showers developing for some. A breakdown in the weather looks to take place later in the week when low pressure moves in bringing rain, possibly heavy and thundery. Feeling muggy.

Pressure remains generally high on Tuesday giving another largely sunny day, although cloud cover could develop across eastern areas through the day. Mainly dry conditions, but there is the risk of a few developing showers across parts of Ireland and southern England later on. Highs at 19 to 29C.
High pressure remains across the country still on Wednesday. Plenty of dry and fine conditions about, although cloud looks to thicken across Ireland, southwest England and parts of Wales later where a few showers could also develop. Highs at 18 to 29C.
Largely cloudy skies with outbreaks of rain affecting parts of Ireland and possibly some western fringes of Wales. More in the way of cloud generally across the rest of the country but with some sunny spells in places. Largely dry although some showers look to develop across northern England into southern Scotland later. Highs at a muggy 19 to 27C.
With low pressure moving in on Friday expect rather cloudy skies again but with some developing sunny spells in places. Outbreaks of rain will become more widespread across the country, although the north and northeast of Scotland as well as many eastern English counties look to remain dry throughout. Feeling muggy once again with highs 17 to 26C.
Staying rather mixed to unsettled as we head into Saturday with outbreaks of rain and largely cloudy skies, but some sunshine will develop in places later on. Rain could be heavy at times and possibly thundery. Once again the far north of Scotland could miss out on any rain at all. Highs 16 to 27C.
Low pressure remains the dominating weather feature for the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This will continue to bring cloudier skies but with some sunny spells developing in places. Some outbreaks of rain about, but perhaps less so compared with Saturday suggesting more places looking to remain dry. Highs 16 to 26C.
