High pressure over Ireland extends into the British Isles on Sunday. This is going to be bringing another dry and very warm day for most. Thicker cloud in central and northern Scotland which could bring some rain into the north of Scotland, Shetland and Orkney. Highs at 16C in the far north of Scotland, 22 to 29C elsewhere.
The remnants of a front passing south through Scotland into England and Ireland on Monday. This will bring more cloud cover today for some with some spots of rain. There will be the risk later of scattered showers in Wales and central/southern England. Plenty of sunshine elsewhere. Highs at 18C to 28C.
Pressure remains generally high on Tuesday, although cloud cover could develop more widely again but there will also be sunny spells and stay largely dry for most. There is the risk though of a few scattered showers developing across more western areas. Highs at 18 to 25C.
Higher pressure remains across the country on Wednesday still, although weakened as lower pressure moves closer towards southwest Ireland. This pushes cloud and some outbreaks of patchy rain north into Ireland, Wales and southwest England. A few showers in northern England and southern Scotland are possible too. The best of any bright spells in northern and eastern areas, a risk of some mist and fog around southern and western coasts and hills. Highs at 20 to 26C and feeling muggy.
Cloudy skies and some patchy rain across Ireland, Wales, and southwest England. Brighter spells elsewhere with largely dry conditions but a few developing showers may pop up across Scotland later on. Highs at a muggy 19 to 26C.
Cloudy skies for many southern and western areas of the UK and Ireland with outbreaks of rain about. Drier elsewhere but cloud will soon thicken from the west for some. Best of the lasting sunny spells across far eastern areas as well as across northern Scotland. Highs still at a muggy 19 to 25C.
