High pressure brings a few dry days the start the new week, and as the high is to the east the winds will be bringing some very warm air into the British Isles too. By the middle of the week some showery, thundery rain reaches more western areas. This then moves across the whole of the area in the second half of the week. Turning fresher from the west.
