Duty forecaster: Dr. Simon Keeling
Unsettled, rain and showers continuing into next week, perhaps better later
An unsettled weekend with low pressure brings strong winds and heavy rain. Conditions turning showery on Sunday and through Monday and Tuesday. Uncertainty in the forecast into next week with the threat of rain and strong winds as well as colder conditions in the southern half of the UK. More northern and western areas are likely to be drier and brighter. Perhaps better towards the end of the forecast period.
