Unsettled with wind and rain or frequent showers. Turning milder for most.

Monday 10/5/21
Low pressure will be centred over Ireland at the start of the new week. This will bring strong winds and frequent, heavy blustery showers or longer spells of rain to Ireland, Northern Ireland, western areas of the UK, including Wales, and Scotland. Fewer showers towards the east with some sunny spells. Highs at 11 to 16C.

Tuesday 11/5/21
The area of low pressure continues to centre itself over Ireland. Strong winds resume with frequent, heavy showers affecting Ireland and Northern Ireland in particular, but also affecting the rest of the UK. Fewer showers once again further east. Highs at 12 to 17C.

Wednesday 12/5/21
The UK remains under the influence of low pressure during midweek, seeing another day of sunny spells but also frequent and heavy showers or longer spells of rain. These look to particularly affect parts of Scotland as well as southern regions of England. Highs at 11 to 16C generally but cooler across northern Scotland with highs here reaching 9C.

Thursday 13/5/21
Low pressure sinks south and moves across southern England on Thursday, bringing heavy showers or longer spells of rain mainly to parts of Wales and southern and central England including parts of Ireland. Northern areas will see higher pressure ridge in allowing for relatively drier conditions here. Highs warmest to the south at 13 to 17C, further north slightly cooler.

Friday 14/5/21
Low presure continues to be pushed south by high pressure to the northwest of Scotland. Cloudier skies and showers will continue to affect Wales and southern counties of England as well as parts of southern Ireland. Drier weather further north and particularly to the northwest where it is closer to the high pressure, some showers though expected across eastern regions of Scotland. Highs again warmest to the south at 13 to 17C, further north between 8 to 13C.

Saturday 15/5/21
Low pressure still looks to bring showers or longer spells of rain to southern regions of the UK by the weekend, but northern regions, more so the northwest look to stay largely dry with high pressure ridging down from Iceland. Highs again warmest further south reaching to 17C but cooler at 13C further north.
