Becoming dry, fine and very warm
High pressure builds in from this weekend bringing in dry, sunny and very warm and humid temperatures as we go through the week. Later in the week into the weekend there is the signal of some showers developing though likely to stay warm.

Monday 4/9/23 High pressure sits over England on Monday giving another dry day with plenty of sunshine, once any mist and fog patches lift first thing. Cloudier across northern and central areas of Scotland with outbreaks of rain in the far northwest here. Highs at 16 to 25C for most, up to 29C in the far SE England.
Tuesday 5/9/23 High pressure slides further east on Tuesday which allows for a more prominant south-easterly wind flow to develop across the country. Anohter largely dry day with sunny spells, though the odd developing shower in southwest England cannot be ruled out. Highs at a very warm 19 to 29C.
Wednesday 6/9/23 High pressure sits to the east of the UK while lower pressure is out in the Atlantic on Wednesday. A warm southerly wind blows through. The risk of some showers across more western areas but most should stay dry with sunny spells. Highs at 19 up into the high 20s across southern and eastern areas.
Thursday 7/9/23 Most across the country again are expected to stay dry, fine and warm through Thursday, though more cloud and possible showers will push could develop over far western areas. Highs well into the 20s for many still.
Friday 8/9/23 There is the risk by Friday that the higher pressure may just break down slightly with more places seeing a higher risk of showers, though most in the east should stay largely dry, fine and warm. Highs at 17 to 27 or 28C.
Saturday 9/9/23 Saturday could see a trough move in from the west bringing spells of rain to western areas and showers to develop further east. Highs at 17 to 28C.
