High winds and heavy rain Wednesday, then mixed
Storm Agnes passes through much of the country on Wednesday bringing high winds and gusts as well as heavy rainfall to some. Then it stays reasonably mixed though with higher pressure ridging in regularly not overly wet for most. HIgher pressure looks to build in more through next week.

Friday 29/9/23 Friday sees a ridge of high pressure gradually build in over the British Isles. There will be some showers in western Scotland and northwest England, but dry for other areas with sunny spells. Highs at 14 to 19C.
Saturday 30/9/23 Starting off for most dry and fine yet cooler than of late on Saturday. Cloud will soon build with rain moving in from the southwest through the day with heavy rain affecting Northern Ireland, Wales, northwest England and southwest Scotland. Drier across the far south of England and northern Scotland. Highs at 15 to 20C.
Sunday 1/10/23 Overnight cloud and patchy rain lingers through the day on Sunday across Wales into central and southern regions of England before gradually easing back. Showers will affect many western areas while longer spells of rain will affect north and west Scotland. Drier elsewhere. Highs at 25C in the southeast, 14C in northwest Scotland.
Monday 2/10/23 Cloud and patchy rain in gradually clearing southern areas on Monday. Showers continue to push on to western areas further north with a brisk wind across Scotland. Eastern area staying largely dry. Temperatures at 14 to 20C.
Tuesday 3/10/23 A ridge of higher pressure builds up from the southwest on Tuesday, A mostly dry and fine day with developing sunny spells, though there will be showers on to some western coasts and hills, particularly of Scotland. Highs at 14 to 20C.
Wednesday 4/10/23 A possible frontal system moves in on Wednesday to interrupt the higher pressure. This will bring in more cloud and outbreaks of rain to particularly northern and western areas. The south staying largely dry. Highs at 14 to 20C.
