Remaining windy with gales across Scotland, mix of rain and showers, of rain on and near western coasts, mostly of snow for many central inland areas and with height, temperatures 0C to 4C. Showers following into western areas through the afternoon Cloudy through the morning for Devon and Cornwall,midlands to Yorkshire with prolonged often heavy periods of rain clearing later during the morning with sunshine through the afternoon, 6 to 8C and a fresh west wind. Sunny spells and scattered showers for northwest, and later southeast England during the afternoon.

A dry though generally cloudy start with patchy frost across Scotland. Remaining cloudy for all of western Scotland, N.Ireland, England and Wales with rain southwest England and Wales mid-morning, moving quickly across all areas through midlands northeast and southeast England by afternoon though patchy in eastern England by evening. Less cold generally 6 to 8C likely 10C for Devon and Cornwall. Scotland rain will again be prolonged and heavy with snow at height, though snow melt slow to continue

Continuing windy across Scotland and N.Ireland with a fresh southwest wind, cloudy with scattered showers for western and northwest Scotland, snow showers likely in more central locations, 2C to 6C on and along coasts. England and Wales a mainly dry day with variable cloudy and sunny spells. Less cold 6 to 8C with a moderate west wind. An area of cloud and rain moving into southwest England and south Wales during the evening and later N.Ireland and southwest Scotland.

Cloudy to start with prolonged and often heavy rain moving away from N.Ireland, across southwest Scotland during the morning reaching northeast Scotland during the afternoon, some snow likely 2C to 4C generally. A mix of sunshine and showers for southern Scotland and N.Ireland along with northwest England 8 to 10C. Remainder of England and Wales mainly dry with sunny spells and occassional showers, 10 to 12C with amoderate southwest wind. Frost-free overnight

A dry day generally, patchy frost in central Scotland especially with snow cover continuing. Temperature near average for most of England and Wales 6 to 8C. Patchy frost and fog likely as winds becoming light and southeasterly.
